Interview with Blackadaisical

A Popup Interview with Blackadaisical

CK:

Let us say that you have been just signed by a major label and

they say time to

move 2500 miles. Now what, would you be able to move?

Blackadaisical:

We couldn't leave our cellar- the sunlight would destroy us,and we would

NOT sign to a

 major anyway.

CK:

If you wanted to make your own genre name, what would it be?

Blackadaisical:

psycho-progressive/retro/gothic/punk

CK:

Have you ever paid for advertising for the band?

Blackadaisical:

NEVER!!

CK:

Who are your biggest influences?

Blackadaisical:

Early Alice Cooper Cardiacs and anything 'off the wall' with a

sense of humour

CK:

Do you feel that "underground" is just a marketing term

like anything else?

Blackadaisical:

Not in our case-we spend all our time in our lovely dark, damp cellar

CK:

Describe your typical stage show performance. Give us a hint into what we

might expect to see are your show.

Blackadaisical:

we dont do live work at the moment-we're too busy being dead.

CK:

How long does it take for an average song to go from a musical idea

to a recordable song?

Blackadaisical:

It depends on how many of us are awake at the time.

On a good day a matter of hours-on a bad day 5 years.

CK:

Can you name a few of you favorite places on the web for band promotions?

Blackadaisical:

World Sings is very good (people actually contact each other-even us!)

Reverbnation hasa lot of usable resources and Kerchoonz

gives a band a chance

to be paid for streams as well as downloads.

CK:

What is your favorite local venue?

Blackadaisical:

We dont have one-we've closed every venue we played lol!!

CK:

If you could put on a show anywhere were would it be?

Blackadaisical:

It would have to be in our cellar but no-one would come

because thay might not get out alive (cue EVIL LAUGH).
